Nærnaturveileder
Nærnaturveileder er vårt mest gjennomførte kurs. I løpet av kursdagen får du et bredt repertoar av ideer til undervisning og aktiviteter for barn og ungdom i nærnatur. Kurset har særlig fokus på deg som pedagog og leder for uteaktivitet.
Innhold:
Naturleiker, friluftsaktiviteter, gruppeaktiviteter i natur, bygging av hyttelandsby og opplevelsesområder, læring i natur, knuter, samt refleksjon rundt rollen som naturveileder.
Fysisk aktivitet og motorisk læring ute
Kurset gir praktiske ideer til fysisk aktivitet i natur, med fokus på bevegelse, motorisk utvikling og kroppslig læring. Deltakerne jobber med refleksjon og utprøving som metode.
Innhold:
Naturbevegelser, koordinative ferdigheter i natur, naturens muligheter for variert bevegelse, naturleiker, sanseøvelser, etablering av bevegelsesområder og aktivitetsløyper ute.
Mat i groper og steinovner
Et metodekurs for deg som ønsker å lage mat ute sammen med grupper, med vekt på pedagogisk tilnærming og fellesskap.
Innhold:
Bygging av steinovner og kokegroper, ulike bål- og båloppheng, lage enkle redskaper, varierte metoder for utematlaging. Gruppevis tilberedning av retter fra natur og butikk, avsluttet med felles koldtbord og presentasjon.
Relasjonsbygging i natur
Kurset gir konkrete verktøy for å styrke relasjoner, samarbeid og trygghet gjennom praktisk aktivitet i natur.
Innhold:
Lekeslåssing, gruppekonkurranser, trygghetsøvelser, «Mesternes mester», naturleiker, byggeprosjekter i natur, stillhet og samtale. Vi bygger lag.
Lær å lage naturlekeplass
Et unikt kurs der deltakerne lærer å bygge naturlekeplasser og lekeapparater i natur. Konseptet er utviklet av oss på 1990-tallet, med utgangspunkt i boken Lag en naturlekeplass.
Innhold:
Bygging av naturleikeapparater med fokus på sikkerhet, knuter og materialbruk. Kurset avsluttes med ferdigstillelse av en naturlekeplass laget med enkle midler.
Språklæring i natur
Kurset setter søkelys på erfaringsbasert og naturlig språklæring gjennom lek og utforsking ute.
Innhold:
Begrepslæring i natur, sanse og utforske, erfaringsbasert læring, lek med ord og uttrykk, og praktiske metoder for språkutvikling i nærmiljøet.
Uteskole
Kurset tar utgangspunkt i Læreplanverket 2020 og gir konkrete ideer til hvordan undervisning kan flyttes ut i nærnatur.
Innhold:
Dybdelæring i natur, tverrfaglig undervisning, undervisning i ulike fag ute, lærerrollen i natur og mulighetsrommet i Læreplan 2020 for uteskole.
Nearby Nature Guide
The Nearby Nature Guide course is our most frequently held course. During the course day, you will gain a wide range of ideas for teaching and activities with children and young people in nearby nature. The course focuses on developing you as a pedagogue and a responsible leader of outdoor activities.
Content:
Nature-based games, outdoor and friluftsliv activities, group activities in nature, building a hut village, creating experiential learning areas, learning in nature, knots, and practice/reflection on the role of the nature guide.
Physical Activity and Motor Learning Outdoors
This course provides practical ideas for activities in nature with a focus on movement and physical development. Motor learning through reflection and hands-on practice is central.
Content:
Nature-based movement, coordination skills in natural environments, the movement opportunities offered by nature, nature games, sensory exercises, creating movement areas and outdoor activity trails, and designing movement-based outdoor activities.
Cooking in Pits and Stone Ovens
A methods-based course for those who want to cook outdoors with groups. Participants learn different approaches and methods suitable for a pedagogical outdoor cooking setting.
Content:
Building stone ovens, cooking pits, and various campfires and fire-hanging systems. Making simple tools and learning different outdoor cooking methods. Preparing a variety of dishes from nature and store-bought ingredients outdoors, and group-based preparation of a shared buffet with presentations.
Relationship Building in Nature
This course provides participants with practical ideas and tools for relationship building through activities in nature.
Content:
Play fighting, group competitions, trust-building exercises, “Masters of Champions,” nature games, collaborative building in nature, silence and dialogue. We build a team.
Learning to Create a Nature Playground
In this course, participants learn how to create nature playgrounds and play equipment using natural materials. The course is unique, and the concept was developed by us in the 1990s, based on our book Create a Nature Playground.
Content:
Building nature-based play structures with guidance on safety, knots, and materials. By the end of the day, participants will have created a nature playground using simple means.
Language Learning in Nature
This course focuses on experience-based language learning. Throughout the day, participants gain many ideas on how to use nature as a resource for developing language and vocabulary.
Content:
Concept learning in nature, sensory exploration, experiential learning, nature-based activities, playing with words and expressions, and natural language development.
Outdoor School
The course is based on the Norwegian Curriculum 2020 and provides ideas on how to conduct teaching outdoors in nearby nature.
Content:
Deep learning in nature, interdisciplinary learning, teaching different subjects outdoors, the teacher’s role in nature, and the opportunities within the Curriculum 2020 for outdoor schooling.
Nature, Life Skills, and Health
This course is based on the objectives for Life Skills and Health in the Framework Plan for Kindergartens and the Norwegian Curriculum 2020. The course provides ideas for working with life skills through nature-based activities.
Content:
Forest bathing – a journey through the world of the senses, physical activities in nature, mindfulness in hammocks, group-based mastery, joint exercises, small-group conversations, silence and reflection, and strategies for change.
Adapted Education and Inclusion
This course is designed for staff in kindergartens and schools working with special education, inclusion, and adapted learning. It provides ideas on how nature can be used as a powerful arena for teaching children and young people with special needs.
Content:
Adapted activities, inclusion through play, relationship-building exercises in nature, and nature’s opportunities for individualization.
First Aid in Kindergarten and School
This course is intended for adults responsible for children and young people. It provides knowledge and practical experience in handling illnesses and injuries that may occur in kindergartens and schools.
Content:
The course begins indoors with a two-hour lecture on first aid for children and young people. Participants receive an introduction to managing various injuries and medical situations that may arise in kindergartens and schools. After the lecture, participants work in groups with practical case scenarios such as traffic accidents, drowning, fractures, and burns.
